Chris Patten, former Chief Executive of Hong Kong, allowed Federation of Trade Unions and Democratic Alliance of Betterment of Hong Kong to participate in elections. However, Li Ka-chiu, Chief Executive of Hong Kong, do not allow Democratic Party to take part in the District Council election in 2023. It is because the Westerners know what democracy is but the Chinese do not know. Shame on Hong Kong!
